About

This page will forever be a work in progress.

I’ll start with the important stuff as to why you might want to hire me, but then, maybe I will use this space for a little autobiographical space.

I’ve been a Notary Public off and on since 2007.  I started doing it as a backup Notary for a business I worked for. My Mother was a Notary for a bank where she worked, so I had a little idea of what it involved. When the opportunity came up, I took it.  I didn’t do a whole lot with my commission at that time – I was just the backup Notary. I had listed myself on one of the earliest websites listing Notaries and received the occasional call for a notarization or loan signing here and there, but it wasn’t even something I would consider a hobby – just the most minor of side hustles.

Recently, a friend of mine who knew that I was previously a Notary had inquired about needing a Notary. This wasn’t the first time someone asked me about it, so I decided to refresh my education and renew my commission, and so here we are.

I have been in a number of positions over the years where I’ve dealt extensively with invoices, contracts, and a lot of other legal forms. One thing that’s always appealed to me about this type of work is the need for precision.  Mistakes can be very costly, so I learned to avoid them at all costs.  This doesn’t mean that I am perfect; it just means that I dislike mistakes!  By this, I mean that I dislike repeat mistakes.  The first time something gets messed up, it can be viewed as a learning experience.  It’s the second time a mistake happens that really bugs me.  I’m referring to myself here, not other people.

Once I renewed my commission in early 2025, I have dedicated countless hours and taken every class I could get my hands on in an effort to become the best Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent I could be. I’m sure most people don’t give a second thought to the many intricacies of the Notary / Loan Signing Business, and that is to be expected. It is my job to know everything I can to make your notarizations, apostilles, and loan signings as effortless as possible on your end, by knowing everything I can on my end, and that continues to be my goal.

Whether during a phone consultation about your inquiry or when we sit down to get things done, you can rest assured that I will do everything I can to make certain it is done right the first time. This might mean it takes a few extra minutes to literally make sure all of the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed, but that is the nature of this business. A Notary’s primary functions are to deter fraud and ensure that the documents we formalize are as close to perfect as we can get them!
